English Language Teaching Bachelor’s Degree Program

Bachelor’s Degree Program offered by the Department of ELT fosters quality educators who can contribute to the ever-challenging society with special knowledge and skills of English language and cultures. The Department of ELT also aims to foster educators who posses not only basic educational knowledge and skills but also a rich sense of humanity and ripe judgment as educators. The ELT majors are actively involved in English education through volunteer work in local elementary and secondary schools as well as through studying at home and abroad. All faculty members and staffs fully support the students who obtain English education.

English Language Teaching Master’s Degree Program

The Department of ELT Master’s Degree Program aims to cultivate quality educators with expert skills and knowledge necessary for researchers and teachers. This is done through a great deal of research and practices in studies on English language education, American and British literature, and English linguistics and cross-cultural understanding.

In addition to theoretical and practical studies conducted in classrooms, the ELT majors learn by observing real classes in local schools and supporting children as volunteers.

Since the ELT department accepts in-service teachers every year, their voices are reflected in the program in which the faculty members and both pre- and in-service teachers passionately seek ideal education.
